The trend of Englishmen joining the Newcastle Knights looks set to continue.

The club is poised to add another English talent, as Beau Morrison departs the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League to pursue a new opportunity in Australia.

According to Wide World of Sports, Morrison, the son of former NRL player Glenn Morrison, is set to join Newcastle's pathways system in the upcoming season in his quest to break into the NRL.

Glenn accumulated over 300 games in both the NRL and Super League, playing for teams such as the Wests Tigers, North Sydney Bears, North Queensland Cowboys, and Parramatta Eels, before moving into coaching.

A formidable 20-year-old winger, Beau grew up in England during his father's playing career and has garnered respect in the Giants' development system.

He aims to secure a Knights development contract within the next two seasons as he embarks on this new chapter in Australia.

Morrison will kick off his Australian journey in Newcastle's Jersey Flegg squad, where the club will closely monitor his progress.
