The Newcastle Knights have sent a clear message to the competition with an impressive 46-10 victory over the Titans at Cbus Super Stadium.

The defending champs were in fine form, with fullback Tamika Upton showcasing her skills with three try assists and winger Sheridan Gallagher securing a hat-trick.

The Knights' performance marked the largest win in their storied history, as they came out firing from the opening whistle.

Titans five-eighth Sienna Lofipo's early mistake was swiftly punished by the Knights, with Yasmin Clydsdale crossing the try line just 70 seconds into the match.

By the 10th minute, the defending premiers had already notched up a second try, as Upton combined with Shanice Parker to set up Gallagher in the corner, giving the Knights a commanding 12-0 lead.

Gallagher then intercepted a pass just five minutes later, making a break down the field before Georgia Roche's clever kick allowed Upton to score, extending the Knights' lead to 18-0.

The onslaught continued as Olivia Higgins dived over from dummy half for another four-pointer, before Clydsdale bulldozed her way through the Titans' defence to claim her second try of the match, pushing the scoreline to 28-0.

The Knights' dominant display left the Titans reeling, as they struggled to contain Newcastle's attacking prowess throughout the match.

The Knights' performance was a testament to their strength and skill, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with in the Rugby League world.
