The Knights came, saw, and conquered the Titans in a ruthless display of dominance at Cbus Super Stadium over the weekend, ending any hopes of a finals run for the Gold Coast team.
Led by their star fullback Tamika Upton, who delivered three impeccable try assists, and winger Sheridan Gallagher, who secured a hat-trick, the Knights etched their name in history with their most commanding victory to date.
The tone was set early on when Titans' five-eighth Sienna Lofipo's error from the kick-off was swiftly punished by the Knights, resulting in Yasmin Clydsdale crossing the try line just 70 seconds into the game.
By the 10th minute, the defending champions had notched up their second try, as Upton's brilliance set up Shanice Parker to send Gallagher blazing over the try line, giving the Knights a 12-0 lead.
Gallagher continued her stellar performance, seizing an intercept five minutes later and making an impressive break before Georgia Roche's clever chip kick allowed Upton to score, extending the lead to 18-0.
The onslaught continued, with Olivia Higgins darting over from dummy half to add to the Knights' tally, before Clydsdale bulldozed through weak Titans defense to secure her second try, pushing the score to a daunting 28-0.
In a display of sheer dominance, the Knights put the Titans to the sword, leaving no doubt about their status as formidable contenders in the Rugby League arena.
