Knights score double with new signings

The Newcastle Knights have welcomed two new recruits on board, securing them until 2027.

Taj Annan, a 21-year-old local lad from Newcastle, is making his way back home after a stint with the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby.

Transitioning from the world of Rugby Union to the tough and gritty world of Rugby League should be a walk in the park for this talented young gun.

Annan even donned the green and gold for Australia in the Under-20 Rugby World Championship back in 2023.

According to the Head of Recruitment, Peter O'Sullivan, Annan brings a whole lot of talent to the table.

With his ability to slot into any position in the backline and even potentially transition to the backrow, his massive kicking game, speed, and versatility will be a massive boon for the Knights.

Standing tall at 193cms, Taj will be a towering presence in attack and a vital addition to the Knights' backline.

Welcome aboard, Taj!
