In a dominant display, the nib Newcastle Knights NRL side thrashed the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 42-6 at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The victory came in the midst of Member Appreciation Round, where the Knights celebrated their loyal supporters.

The team's strong first-half performance saw them take a commanding 30-0 lead at halftime.

This win marks their sixth consecutive victory, propelling them back into the top eight on the ladder.

The match kicked off in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 23,464 NRL Members and supporters, who were treated to an exceptional performance by the home team.

In just the 6th minute of the game, Dane Gagai capitalized on an opportunity and scored the first try for Newcastle, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
