Knights turn to secret weapon as Vegas planning ramps up

The Newcastle Knights are gearing up for a significant event, taking on North Queensland in the third edition of the NRL's season-opening extravaganza in Las Vegas next year.

To enhance their preparations, the Knights have enlisted the help of a former Sydney Rooster, Chris James, who now oversees the planning process after joining the club earlier this year.

Peter Parr, the Knights' Director of Football, emphasized the complexity of this logistical undertaking, stating, "it's one of the biggest logistical challenges I've faced in more than two decades of rugby league administration." Despite these challenges, Parr is optimistic that the club has discovered a successful strategy for the event.

The Knights' efforts to fine-tune their approach come after learning from the experiences of the past two years.

As the excitement builds for the match in Las Vegas, the club is looking to leverage James's expertise to ensure a smooth operation, ultimately aiming for a victorious outcome in the lavish setting.
