Knights forward Brodie Jones drawing interest from NRL clubs

Another NRL team has thrown their hat in the ring for Newcastle Knights forward Brodie Jones, who is currently without a contract for next season.

After a disappointing exit from the 2024 NRL Finals, the Knights have been in the midst of a roster overhaul.

This shake-up is not due to lack of success on the field, but rather a strategic move to free up space in their salary cap.

Several players and club stalwarts have already departed or been linked with leaving, including Adam Elliott, Jayden Brailey, Jack Hetherington, Jackson Hastings, Mat Croker, Daniel Saifiti, and Enari Tuala.

Jones has confirmed interest from The Dolphins to join them in Queensland next season, potentially adding some depth to their roster.

However, reports now suggest that the Gold Coast Titans have also thrown their hat in the ring for the talented forward.

With one foot already in Queensland, Jones could be in for a change of scenery in 2025, whether it's with The Dolphins or another club eyeing his services.

The plot thickens in the ever-evolving world of Rugby League player contracts.
