The Newcastle Knights have shared news regarding two important forwards as they prepare for their finals series in 2026.
Emerging talent Francis Manuleleua dislocated his elbow just before half-time after an awkward fall that bent his arm backwards.
Club medical staff quickly assisted him with a green whistle and took him off the field without delay.
The Knights confirmed that the 22-year-old's arm showed no fractures, keeping alive hopes for his return this year.
He will now focus on an intensive rehabilitation program for his elbow to be fit for the Knights' finals run.
