King-Togia has definitively addressed rumors linking him to the Newcastle Knights, stating they are unfounded.
Previously, reports suggested that the St George Illawarra Dragons half had agreed to join the Knights for the 2026 season but later opted to remain with the Dragons during a ten-day cooling-off period mandated by the NRL.
This period prevents players from being publicly announced by a new club while allowing them to reconsider their decisions.
At only 20 years old, King-Togia is recognized as one of the brightest young talents in the NRL.
On "The Dragons Den Podcast," he clarified the situation regarding the Knights' speculation.
When asked about the rumors of having signed or even toured the Knights' facilities, he firmly stated, "Nothing was signed." This assertion puts an end to any lingering doubts regarding his future with the Dragons.
