In this week's pathways report, the nib Newcastle Knights pathways teams in the Knock-On-Effect NSW Cup competitions were in action.

The NSW Cup side took on the North Sydney Bears at Cessnock Sportsground last Saturday.

Unfortunately, the Knights were unable to secure a victory, as they went down by 40 points to the Bears.

The Bears dominated the match, scoring 10 tries compared to the Knights' three.

Simi Sasagi, David Armstrong, and Kyle McCarthy were the only Knights players to find the scoresheet.

As a result of this loss, Newcastle currently sits in 12th place in the competition with three games remaining.

Their next match will be against the Bulldogs this Sunday before the NRL and NRLW main games.
