In a recent war of words between Willie Mason and Tyson Gamble, Knights coach Adam O'Brien has expressed his disappointment with Mason's behavior.

Mason took to Twitter after the Knights' heavy loss to the Warriors, calling Gamble "average" and advising him to choose his battles wisely.

O'Brien labeled Mason's comments as "disappointing" and weighed in on the situation.

Gamble, who had a tough game and missed several tackles, was left feeling the impact of Mason's brutal sledge.

O'Brien acknowledged that Gamble didn't deserve such criticism from Mason, but also admitted that the young five-eighth wouldn't have responded if given the chance again.

It seems that O'Brien is trying to defend his player and protect him from unnecessary negativity.
