The nib Newcastle Knights NRLW side achieved an historic minor premiership in a comeback victory over the Wests Tigers.
The Knights secured a top spot with a 28-8 win at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday night.
Despite trailing at the break, the Knights produced a strong second half and shut out the Tigers to secure the maiden minor premiership for the Club in the elite women's competition.
The victory also guaranteed the Knights a home semi-final at McDonald Jones Stadium next Sunday.
The Knights took the lead in the 14th minute, with Sheridan Gallagher scoring her sixth try of the season.
A long pass from Jesse Southwell found Gallagher open, and she successfully planted the ball down, adding two points from the sideline.
