Knights and Old Boys unite, igniting Club tradition

A renewed tradition: All grades come together for full Club session

The nib Newcastle Knights, accompanied by the Once a Knight Old Boys, recently held a full Club training session at the Newcastle Permanent Centre of Excellence, a tradition that has been renewed.

According to newcastleknights.com.au, the session brought together a whopping 220 players, ranging from the NRL and NRLW teams to the Club's junior representative sides such as the SG Ball Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, Harold Matthews Cup, and Lisa Fiaola Cup squads.

This diverse group of players split into their respective positional groups and spent the session honing their skills in attack, defense, and positional play.

The session was not only led by the dedicated NRL and pathways coaching staff but also featured the presence of former Knights players, including the likes of Kurt Gidley, Robbie O'Davis, and Steve Simpson.

It was a magnificent sight to see the past and present Knights players uniting in their pursuit of excellence on the rugby league field.
