Knight's Next Chapter: Ex-NRL Forward Signs New Deal for 2026
Liam Knight, a former forward who has played for four different NRL teams, has secured a new contract to extend his rugby league career for the upcoming season.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, Knight last played in the NRL in 2024 with the Canterbury Bulldogs.
He will continue his journey abroad, having signed a one-year agreement with Hull FC for the 2026 Super League season.
After moving overseas at the beginning of this season, Knight was unable to break into the Bulldogs' lineup, where he spent the previous two years, as he was often passed over in favor of younger players like Bailey Hayward, Harry Hayes, and Kurtis Morrin.
"I'm stoked to be staying here - I really love this club and I'm really excited to see what we can keep building over the next 12 months," Knight expressed.
He added, "I've really fallen in love with the fans and the atmosphere, both home and away - they're so dedicated."
