The NZ Warriors will face the Newcastle Knights in their first Anzac Day contest in Christchurch at Apollo Projects Stadium.

The Warriors secured a gritty victory against the Broncos in their last match, with Luke Metcalf stepping up to kick a 50-metre penalty goal in golden point.

The team will be looking to continue their winning streak on Anzac Day after announcing a three-season deal to bring NRL games to Christchurch.

On the other hand, the Knights are hoping to find their spark after suffering four consecutive losses, scoring only 24 points in those matches.

The Knights have struggled in matches played in Aotearoa, winning only two of their last 17.

It will be a challenging match for Adam O'Brien's men as they face a determined Warriors team on Anzac Day.
