The Warriors have announced that the very own Jacob Laban has been selected for the New South Wales Cup Team of the Year, marking a legendary season for the second rower.

This young gun from Wellington made his mark in the NRL debut against South Sydney, solidifying his place as Warrior #286.

With seven first-grade appearances under his belt and the title of NRL rookie of the year, Laban's talent is undeniable.

Laban, a rising star at just 20 years old, burst onto the scene last season and continued to shine this year with 15 appearances in the New South Wales Cup.

Known for his impressive stats, Laban averaged 107 meters and 29 tackles per game, scoring eight tries, making six line breaks, and breaking through 71 tackles.

It's clear that this young talent is destined for greatness in the world of Rugby League.
