Kiraz Steps Up as Blues Feel Injury Blues

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

Jacob Kiraz, the Canterbury Bulldogs winger, has been called into the NSW Blues camp ahead of Game 2 of the 2025 State of Origin series due to another outside back dealing with an injury.

Reports from zerotackle.com indicate that Kiraz's inclusion is necessary for Thursday's training session, which will feature a scrimmage against the Entrance Tigers.

This comes as Brian To'o grapples with a hamstring issue but is still expected to participate in the upcoming game in Perth on Wednesday.

To'o recently experienced discomfort after a match against the Wests Tigers, where he was seen limping in the final minutes.

He had already faced a challenging season, being sidelined for the first three months due to hamstring injuries sustained during two separate stints.
