The Bulldogs winger was a top contender for the Game One lineup in Brisbane but faced a setback due to a calf injury in his final match before selections.
Despite this, Kiraz trained with the team, particularly after a hamstring issue raised concerns about Brian To'o's availability.
However, To'o is expected to play in the upcoming clash against the Maroons.
Having nearly made his State of Origin debut twice, Kiraz expressed that these experiences have fueled his determination to earn a spot in the NSW team in the future.
