King's reign uncertain: Will he switch sides?

Canterbury Bulldogs' hard-working forward, Max King, is generating interest from multiple rival clubs as his contract with the team is set to expire at the end of 2024.

According to the reports from zerotackle.com, King has become a vital piece in the puzzle for rookie coach Cameron Ciraldo, having played almost every game for the Bulldogs since joining the team in 2022.

With several departures in the team's middle third during the off-season, including Tevita Pangai Junior and Luke Thompson, King's importance to the forward pack will only increase in 2024.

Despite not reaching household name status during his time with the Gold Coast Titans and Melbourne Storm, King now finds himself among the leaders of the Bulldogs' forward pack.

Having accumulated 97 NRL games under his belt, King's influence on Canterbury's campaign this year cannot be understated.
