The Perth Bears, the NRL's new expansion team set to debut in 2027, are actively constructing their coaching staff and have shown interest in NSW Blues assistant coach Matt King.
Reports from zerotackle.com highlight that the Bears are exploring various candidates for their head coaching position, with names like Brad Arthur, Sam Burgess, Willie Peters, Kevin Walters, and Mal Meninga being considered.
While these five remain in contention for the top job, King has emerged as a potential fit for an assistant coaching role.
His involvement would see him leave his current position with the Sydney Roosters to join the Bears' staff.
