In a recent interview, Bulldogs enforcer Viliame Kikau revealed his newfound focus on the process rather than the outcomes in the upcoming 2024 Rugby League season.
Reflecting on last year's struggles, Kikau admitted that looking too far ahead had gotten the better of him.
The official Bulldogs website, bulldogs.com.au, has reported on Kikau's determination for a strong comeback season.
In his first year with the Club, Kikau's potential was hindered by a ruptured pectoral muscle that limited his appearances on the field to just nine.
Not only was it challenging for the two-time premiership winner, but he was also adapting to the new environment at Belmore after leaving the Panthers.
Despite the difficulties, Kikau believes that the experience helped him mature as both a player and a person.
As he gears up for the 2024 season, Kikau is ready to reclaim his spot on the left edge, acknowledging the impressive work done by Jacob Preston in his absence last year.
