The Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles are launching the Sea Eagles Sports Business Academy at their Penn Centre of Excellence, aimed at aspiring sports administrators.
This initiative, in partnership with TAFE Queensland, will provide a double Diploma of Sport and a Diploma of Leadership & Management, offering an accredited education pathway that combines hands-on learning within a sports organization.
The year-long program will allow students to gain in-depth insights into the operations of an NRL club, as they engage with the Sea Eagles' daily activities.
Students will participate in 100 hours of work integrated learning across various departments, including management, marketing, and media.
Upon completing the course, selected students will be offered two full-time employment roles at the Sea Eagles.
The initial intake is limited to 35 students, with the first cohort starting in July 2025 and concluding in May 2026.
A second intake is scheduled for January next year.
This program represents a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in the sport industry.
