Alofiana Khan-Pereira is making strides in sharing his Indigenous heritage with his Warriors teammates, highlighting the recent outreach from unknown Māori relatives since his arrival in New Zealand.

Having joined the Warriors after three seasons with the Titans, Khan-Pereira is part of a unique group capable of representing both Indigenous and Māori teams in the upcoming All Stars match on February 15 at FMG Stadium Waikato.

A proud Bundjalang man from the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region of NSW, he brings a rich cultural background, with Pakistani roots on his mother's side and Māori and Sāmoan ancestry from his father.

Embracing the chance to explore his Māori heritage, Khan-Pereira has also been endeavoring to impart knowledge about Indigenous culture to his teammates, although he has encountered some challenges in this regard.
