Kevin Walters has copped a tongue-lashing for keeping Reece Walsh and Adam Reynolds on the field during the Broncos' victory over the Tigers, despite some gnarly scenes on the pitch.

The Broncos coach assured fans that neither Walsh nor Reynolds sustained any serious injuries during the clash.

Walsh, the star fullback, felt a twinge in his leg after a powerhouse run with just 15 minutes remaining in the game.

Although the Brisbane trainer checked on him, Walsh soldiered on, limping around the field.

He gritted his teeth through the lingering pain until he finally exited the game.

Throughout the match, Walsh was seen clutching at his calf and knee, and at one point, he couldn't even move, and he even had a bit of a Technicolor yawn on the field after scoring his second try.

Following the game, Walters downplayed concerns about Walsh's condition, assuring everyone that the young gun was all good and ready for the showdown with the Roosters.

"He (Walsh) had it all tonight - cramps, vomiting - you name it, but he'll bounce back for next week," Walters remarked.

Meanwhile, Reynolds, the Brisbane half, was barely able to stay on his feet towards the end of the match.

Despite his struggles, he managed to snag an interception while hobbling back into the defensive line.

Nevertheless, fans were fuming that Walters left both players in the game, especially given the lackluster competition.

Social media lit up with criticism for Walters' decision, branding it as 'crazy.'
