'Absolute shocker of a half': Kevin Walters baffled after nightmare collapse
Brisbane coach Kevin Walters has likened his team's second-half performance against Cronulla in Round 14 to "probably the worst half of footy (this season)."
With a lead of 12-4 at half time, Brisbane's defense crumbled, allowing the Sharks to score three tries in a mere seven minutes, ultimately handing over the victory to the team from the Shire.
Nine out of Brisbane's 11 errors occurred during the second half, leaving Walters' side with just 26 per cent of the field and 34 per cent of possession.
In his post-game press conference, the Broncos legend expressed his confusion, stating, "I'm not sure what happened."
"It was an absolute shocker of a half, mate," Walters added, using a touch of Aussie slang to capture the disappointment in the team's performance.
