As Josh Kerr approaches his 100th NRL appearance with the Dolphins, he is playing at a career-best level and expressing his desire for a long-term deal with the club.

Despite being off contract at the end of the season, Kerr has not yet entered formal negotiations but is open about his wishes to remain a Dolphin.

He sees Redcliffe as his home, even before the club officially existed, and hopes to continue wearing the jersey for the rest of his career.

Kerr's personal life is also a factor in his decision, as he and his partner are expecting their first child in August, further solidifying his connection to the community where he played junior footy.

Kerr's dedication extends beyond the business side of the sport, as he expresses a genuine desire to stay with the Dolphins for the long term.
