The Parramatta Eels recently held their annual Ken Thornett Medal presentation night, where they handed out a total of nine awards.

According to a report on the Eels' official website, Clint Gutherson was the big winner of the night, taking home three prestigious awards.

Gutherson not only won the coveted Ken Thornett Medal as the Player of the Year, but also received the Nathan Hindmarsh Players' Player Award and the Blue & Gold Army Award.

In addition to Gutherson, there were other standout performers who were recognized for their contributions to the team.

Wiremu Greig, a promising young talent, was named the Eric Grothe Rookie of the Year, while Will Penisini received the Jack Gibson Coaches' Award.

The Eels also highlighted the off-field contributions of their players, with Co-Captain Junior Paulo earning the Ray Price Community Award for his outstanding work in the community.

This award recognizes players who go above and beyond to make a positive impact off the field.

The NSW Cup side also had their share of award winners, with Luca Moretti and Ky Rodwell receiving accolades for their performances.

Meanwhile, Nick Lenaz and Brock Parker were honored with Jersey Flegg honours.

It is worth noting that the NRLW players of the Parramatta Eels will be celebrated at a later date, once the 2023 Women's Premiership season concludes.

This shows the club's commitment to recognizing the achievements of all their players, regardless of the competition they participate in.

Overall, the Ken Thornett Medal presentation night was a special occasion for the Parramatta Eels, as they celebrated the outstanding performances and contributions of their players throughout the season.

It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team and coaching staff.
