The Gold Coast Titans have made key adjustments ahead of their Queensland derby against the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.

Experienced centre Brian Kelly returns to the lineup after a stint in the Hostplus Cup, replacing Alofiana Khan-Pereira, who has been dropped to play for the Ipswich Jets in a curtain-raiser at Cbus Super Stadium.

Coach Des Hasler's only change to the squad sees Tom Weaver join Kieran Foran in the halves, stepping in for Jayden Campbell, who is sidelined due to concussion.

The rest of the team remains unchanged.

In addition to Khan-Pereira, Sean Mullany and Tukimihia Simpkins have also been omitted from the extended squad; both will represent the Tweed Seagulls against Burleigh on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans aim to avenge their Round 8 loss to the Cowboys in Townsville.

However, they come into this match with confidence, having defeated the Cowboys in their last two encounters at Robina.

The Titans are vying for their fifth win of the season in this crucial derby.

Kick-off is set for 4.05 PM at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
