Keebra Defy False Start to Claim Queensland Title

Keebra Park SHS emerged as the winners of the National Schoolboy Cup - Queensland, triumphing over Kirwan SHS with a score of 32-10 at Sunshine Coast Stadium in an thrilling match.

Kirwan started strong, surprising everyone by scoring just two minutes into the game when winger Gausa Dau crossed the line for the opening try.

However, Keebra quickly retaliated, scoring three consecutive tries to take a commanding 16-6 lead by halftime.

The second half began evenly, with Kirwan showing determination but failing to score initially. Meanwhile, Keebra increased their advantage as winger Siosaia Poese deftly navigated through the Bears' defense for a long-range try.

Kirwan's fullback Kees Anderson managed a swift response to narrow the gap, but it was insufficient. Keebra captain and hooker Cooper Murphy then clinched the victory for his team by scoring two late tries, securing the Phil Hall Cup.
