Super League aficionado Barrie McDermott is back with his take on the latest round of action in the 2025 season.

Round two brought us some fierce battles, standout performances, and plenty of drama that has set the stage for an unpredictable season ahead.

Kicking things off, the clash between Wakefield Trinity and Hull KR was a real nail-biter, with the Robins just scraping through.

Young gun Oliver Pratt shone for Wakefield, showing poise and skill beyond his years.

Wigan put in a commanding display to make their intentions clear early on, while Hull FC were brought back down to earth.

However, there were glimpses of promise for the Black and Whites as they look to bounce back.

Moving on to the showdown in Sin City, Warrington managed to grind out a tough win against Catalans, showcasing their fighting spirit.

Meanwhile, the Dragons are still struggling to find their rhythm as they prepare for a tough test against Leigh.

Salford looked more like their old selves in their match, getting off to a solid start against Leeds.

Unfortunately, a worrying injury to Brodie Croft put a damper on the game, but Leeds ultimately secured the victory.

Expect Salford to bounce back stronger in the weeks to come.

As the competition heats up, it's anyone's game.

With contenders emerging and surprises around every corner, Super League 2025 is shaping up to be a rollercoaster ride of thrills, spills, and fierce competition.

So strap in, because it's going to be a wild ride Down Under!
