Eliesa Katoa, the Melbourne Storm back-rower, expressed optimism about returning to the NRL after a career-threatening brain injury. A month post-surgery to address a brain bleed, Katoa's prospects were initially bleak, leaving many to speculate that he had played his last game in rugby league.
Following two weeks in the hospital due to recovery from three concussions sustained in a single match, Katoa has publicly shared his gratitude towards family, friends, and fans. He stated on social media, "I'll be back soon."
