The Australian team will commence their campaign by facing Samoa in Townsville on October 14, followed by a match against New Zealand in Melbourne on October 28.

The tournament's final will take place the following week in Hamilton.

Cherry-Evans, who has already played 18 Tests for Australia, made his Test debut in 2011 during the Four Nations tournament against Wales.

Throughout his international career, he has accumulated 26 points for Australia, including five tries and three goals.

He boasts an impressive record, having won 14 of his 26 matches representing his country.
