The Gallagher Kangaroos started the game with an impressive display, scoring four tries within the first 15 minutes.

Led by standout players Payne Haas and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, the Kangaroos dominated from the start, leaving their opponents, Toa Samoa, struggling to keep up.

In the fifth minute, Haas received a short pass from Isaah Yeo and showed his strength by carrying three defenders over the tryline, resulting in a 6-0 lead for the Kangaroos.

Just four minutes later, captain James Tedesco left Izack Tago behind on the left edge, setting up Fa'asuamaleaui to power over for another try.

The Kangaroos extended their lead to 16-0.

Australia continued their dominance, with Cameron Murray scoring the next try after excellent teamwork between Haas, Ben Hunt, and Cameron Munster.

However, Samoa managed to find their footing and got on the scoreboard with a try from Murray Taulagi, closing the gap to 22-6.

Samoa had a chance to score a second try after a mistake by Dylan Edwards near the Kangaroos' tryline.

However, a poor pass by Daejarn Asi squandered the opportunity.

Despite the brief resurgence from Samoa, the Gallagher Kangaroos maintained control and secured a convincing 38-12 victory.

The team showcased their strength and skill, setting a high standard for the rest of the tournament.
