The nib Newcastle Knights have confirmed that their new signing, Kai Pearce-Paul, has sustained a toe injury which will require surgery.
Pearce-Paul had been dealing with this injury for over a year at his previous club.
After a thorough review by the Knights' medical and performance team, it was determined that surgery was the best option for his long-term health and performance.
The forward will now begin his return to play program with the goal of being selected for the early rounds of the 2024 National Rugby League season.
Pearce-Paul is set to start his official training and club commitments on Thursday, November 23rd.
