In their final trials, the young Sharks showcased their potential, leaving rugby league enthusiasts excited for what lies ahead this season.

Despite losing to the Bulldogs by two tries, both the men's Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams displayed promising performances that bode well for round one.

It was a fierce battle at the Sharks Academy, where the junior Sharks fought hard but narrowly missed out on victory.

On the women's side, the Lisa Fiaola team emerged victorious in their three-way trial, defeating both the Central Coast Roosters and North Sydney Bears with two tries to one in each encounter.

Not to be outdone, the Tarsha Gale Cup squad continued their unbeaten pre-season streak, overpowering the Bears with an impressive eight-tries-to-four triumph.

Coach Brad Kelly was pleased with the effort shown by his Harold Matthews team, recognizing the positive signs that could lead to future success.
