The Sea Eagles Pathways Wrap for the weekend of 16/02/25 is in, and it was a rollercoaster of a ride for the junior representative teams.
The Tigers came out strong, with winger Filipe Huahulu crossing the line first, but the Sea Eagles quickly turned the tide with a flurry of tries in a ten-minute blitz.
Winger Samisoni Talakai, edge forward Matthew Crossingham, and five-eighth Onitoni Large all got in on the action, with Large successfully converting all three tries to put the Sea Eagles ahead 18-4.
However, the home side fought back just before half time and early in the second half, narrowing the gap to just two points.
Unfortunately, the momentum shifted in favor of Balmain as they scored three consecutive tries to take a commanding 32-18 lead.
Talakai managed to grab his second try in the dying moments of the match, but it wasn't enough to secure the win.
The Sea Eagles are now gearing up for a showdown against the Storm in Melbourne next Sunday afternoon, where they'll be looking to bounce back and show their true potential on the field.
