The boys at penrithpanthers.com.au are crowning their Westfund Man of the Month for July, and it's none other than Jarome Luai.

The Panthers clawed their way to victory in every game last month, taking down the Broncos, Dolphins, and Dragons.

Coming off a successful State of Origin series, Luai brought his A-game to the field with some slick kicks (581 metres kicked and 2 forced drop outs) and powerful runs (285 metres gained) in just two appearances.

Hard-working prop Lindsay Smith also stood out with his attacking prowess, setting up a crucial try with a perfectly placed grubber against the Broncos and even scoring one himself against the Dragons.

The St Mary's junior averaged an impressive 33 tackles and 93 running metres in July.

Nathan Cleary made a triumphant return from injury, showcasing his talents with a jaw-dropping 43-metre field goal that sealed a thrilling victory against the Dolphins.

Not stopping there, the Iceman dominated the Dragons with a hat-trick and seven conversions, totaling 26 points in a masterful performance.

Not to be outdone, Scott Sorensen left his mark on the field by averaging 135 running metres (153 post-contact) and 36 tackles with an impressive 93% tackle efficiency.

The man even bagged his 11th career try against the Dragons in Wollongong.

With players like these leading the charge, the Panthers are looking like a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming games.

It's safe to say that things are really heating up in the world of Rugby League Down Under.
