NRL star Josh Addo-Carr has expressed his support for Palestine amidst the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In a social media post, Addo-Carr drew parallels between the situation in Palestine and Indigenous issues in Australia.
He stated, "One struggle, one fight," emphasizing his solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas escalated dramatically over the weekend, with Hamas launching an unprecedented surprise attack, firing over 3500 rockets into Israel.
This attack was accompanied by the violent storming of towns and targeting of innocent civilians by armed militants.
In response, Israel has carried out retaliatory strikes, targeting more than 500 locations in the Gaza Strip.
However, it is important to note that Addo-Carr's post does not necessarily indicate support for Hamas' actions.
