Finals Masterclass: The 'Light at the End of the Tunnel' for Jonah

Following an outstanding performance that led the Storm to a 26-18 victory over the Bulldogs in Friday's qualifying final, halfback Jonah Pezet expressed that he has discovered the "light at the end of a dark tunnel."

In only his eighth match of the season and his second as a starter, Pezet executed a remarkable 40-20 kick, facilitated a try, and prevented another while skillfully keeping the Bulldogs pinned down throughout the game. He was even tasked with converting the final two tries after Nick Meaney was sidelined with a HIA 15 minutes before the game's conclusion.

The 22-year-old's path to his first NRL final was anything but easy.

He suffered a ruptured ACL while playing for Easts Tigers in the Queensland Cup last April, which ruled him out for what was anticipated to be his breakthrough season.
