Shaun Johnson, the Player of the Year, is set to play for the NZ Warriors in their NRL semifinal against the Newcastle Knights on Saturday.
The team list, as reported by warriors.kiwi, confirms Johnson's inclusion.
Last week, Johnson was unable to play in the qualifying final against Penrith due to a calf complaint on his 33rd birthday.
The head coach, Andrew Webster, has decided to keep the squad unchanged for the upcoming match.
In Johnson's absence, Te Maire Martin took on the role of halfback, playing only his second first-grade game since breaking his left fibula in April.
Interestingly, Martin's injury occurred during a match against the Knights, the same team the Warriors will face in the semifinal.
This was also the last time Johnson and Martin played together.
Previously, they paired up against the Knights in the first round of the season, resulting in a hard-fought 20-12 victory for the NZ Warriors.
