Jocelyn Kelleher, a star for the Sydney Roosters NRLW, has expressed her excitement following her selection for the NSW Blues Women's State of Origin debut.

After extending her contract with the Roosters, Kelleher's journey into 2025 has taken an incredible turn.

She is one of four debutants set to play alongside Ellie Johnston, Jayme Fressard, and Abbi Church.

Kelleher described her achievement as "it's insane," reflecting on the exhilarating opportunity she will experience in just 36 hours.

Hailing from the Central Coast, Kelleher's rugby league career began strongly when she won the NSWRL Women's Premiership with the Central Coast Roosters in 2020, quickly leading to her NRLW debut later that year.

At 25, Kelleher is in the prime of her career and aims to add to her accolades as she prepares to face Queensland in Game 1 of the 2025 Women's State of Origin series.

Discussing her call-up, she mentioned that she has "pinched herself several times" after receiving the confirmation from club coach and NSW Blues head coach John Strange.
