The Harvey Norman Jillaroos' coach Brad Donald has made a change to his squad for their upcoming rematch against the Kiwi Ferns.

According to cowboys.com.au, Wests Tigers star winger Jakiya Whitfeld has been called up to the squad to replace Julia Robinson, who withdrew for personal reasons.

Whitfeld's selection comes after his impressive performance in the Australian Prime Minister's XIII match in Papua New Guinea, where he scored four tries.

The Jillaroos narrowly defeated the Ferns 16-10 in their previous encounter in Townsville, and now the two teams are set to face each other again at Melbourne's AAMI Park in the third week of the Pacific Championships.

This rematch will surely be an intense and closely fought battle between the two international rivals.

Coach Brad Donald's decision to include Whitfeld in the squad demonstrates his faith in the young winger's abilities.

With his strong performance in the previous match and his recent form, Whitfeld will be keen to make an impact and help the Jillaroos secure another victory over the Kiwi Ferns.

Both teams will be looking to make adjustments and improve upon their previous performances in order to come out on top in this highly anticipated rematch.
