The Jillaroos made history by defeating the Kiwi Ferns 14-0 in a revenge-filled match that took place in New Zealand.

Fullback Tamika Upton played a pivotal role in the game, scoring a superb solo try that helped secure the win for Australia.

After their dominating 84-0 victory over Papua New Guinea, where their wingers scored a combined 11 tries, the Aussies faced a tougher challenge against the World Cup champions.

Despite some injury concerns in Christchurch, the Jillaroos managed to keep the Kiwi Ferns scoreless.

Points were hard to come by in the first half, but Upton's impressive footwork and try-scoring abilities gave Australia the edge they needed.

With a left foot step and a strong run to the try line, she extended the lead and set the tone for the rest of the game.

The rematch between these two teams is set to take place in Sydney in a couple of weeks, and the Jillaroos are eager to prove themselves once again.

The Kiwi Ferns will be a formidable opponent, but Australia is determined to reverse last year's disappointing result and come out on top.

The stage is set for an epic showdown at CommBank Stadium, where both teams will be looking to showcase their best skills and strategies.

The Jillaroos are ready to rise to the challenge and show the Kiwi Ferns what they're made of.
