Tamika Upton, who has had an outstanding season, has been selected to make her international debut in the upcoming 2023 Pacific Championships.

This news has been reported by the website warriors.kiwi, which states that the Harvey Norman Jillaroos coach Brad Donald has included Upton in a 21-player squad.

Upton, who helped Newcastle win the NRLW premierships for two consecutive years, also won the Karyn Murphy Medal for her exceptional performance.

She joins Emma Manzelmann and Jess Elliston as the three new additions to the team, following their success in the World Cup last November.

The squad also includes Yasmin Clydsdale and Caitlan Johnston, who were part of the Knights team that won the Grand Final.

Additionally, five players from the Titans, who finished as runners-up, have been named in the squad.

These players are Shaylee Bent, Lauren Brown, Jaime Chapman, Shannon Mato, and Evania Pelite.

With the inclusion of these players, a total of nine out of the ten NRLW clubs are represented in the squad, as the competition expanded in 2023.

This selection is a testament to Upton's exceptional skills and performances throughout the season.

She has proven herself to be a valuable asset to her team, and her inclusion in the Jillaroos squad is well-deserved.

It will be exciting to see her make her international debut and showcase her talents on a global stage.

The Pacific Championships will undoubtedly provide Upton and the rest of the squad with a great opportunity to further prove themselves and continue their success in the sport.
