The JFC Team List indicates that two promising juniors from the NZ Warriors are set to return from injuries in the upcoming Jersey Flegg Cup match against Canterbury Bankstown.
The match is scheduled for Sunday at Navigation Homes Stadium, kicking off at 11:00 a.m.
First, Dezman Laban, an exciting second rower and younger brother of NRL back rower Jacob Laban, will make his season debut.
Injury had kept him from participating in the SG Ball Cup (under-17) campaign, but he previously excelled with the club's premiership-winning Harold Matthews Cup (under-17) team last year.
Also making a return is Augustino Filipo, an impressive back rower who has been named captain for the Warriors' 2025 SG Ball Cup side.
This season, however, he has only played three games due to injury and will appear on the extended bench for his first Jersey Flegg outing of the year.
