Broncos Affiliates Wrap: Jensen Carries Strong Form Back Into NRL

Brisbane prop Corey Jensen is set to make his return to NRL action this Saturday night against the Raiders after putting in a stellar performance for Broncos Affiliate Wynnum Manly in the Hostplus Cup last weekend.

According to the report on broncos.com.au titled "Broncos Affiliates Wrap: Jensen Carries Strong Form Back Into NRL," Jensen had an outstanding game for the Seagulls against the Brisbane Tigers, running an impressive 251 metres from 19 hit-ups and making 27 tackles.

Not only was Jensen in fine form, but centre Deine Mariner also stood out for Wynnum.

Mariner scored a fantastic try that showcased his speed on the left-hand side and made 11 runs for 147 metres, including 2 line breaks and 3 tackle breaks.

Delouise Hoeter, the centre partner of Mariner, also had a solid performance.

Hoeter had 8 runs for the Seagulls, including a line break and a line break assist.

Playmaker Josh Rogers contributed 8 points to his 2023 tally, along with 96 running metres and 1 try assist.

Emerging prop Xavier Willison played 46 minutes and had 11 runs for 117 metres.

He also made 24 tackles without any misses.

Despite coming up short against the Tigers, the Seagulls still managed to secure a spot in the finals, finishing in sixth place on the ladder.
