Jed's debut: cramps and tries, nerves on the line

Jed Stuart recently made his NRL debut, where he overcame cramps in the final 20 minutes of the game and scored a try.

As reported by Zero Tackle, Stuart, the son of coach Ricky, was activated to play due to Savelio Tamale's knee injury, which will keep Tamale off the field until the finals.

The Raiders are currently in a strong position, likely securing a playoff spot following their victory against the Wests Tigers.

Despite the high stakes, Stuart shared that he felt surprisingly calm leading up to his debut, having been informed of his starting position the previous Tuesday during the Raiders' bye week.

"It's actually been really good.

I haven't been too nervous.

I found out Tuesday last week, so I've had time to dwell on it," he stated in an interview with Brad Fittler on Channel 9.

"I was more excited to play with the boys.

What they are doing this year is crazy and I've had a piece of it just then."

Stuart's debut marks a significant step in his career, and his performance under pressure demonstrates his preparedness and excitement for the game.
