Gold Coast Titans standout Jayden Campbell is reportedly on the verge of signing a multi-year contract worth nearly $3 million, amid interest from clubs like St George Illawarra Dragons and the Perth Bears.
As the son of famed Indigenous rugby league player Preston Campbell, Jayden has recently established himself as the first-choice halfback during the 2025 NRL season. He has showcased his versatility in previous years by also playing as a fullback and filling utility roles off the interchange bench.
With the opportunity to engage with rival teams starting today, Campbell has captured the attention of six different clubs, including the St George Illawarra Dragons, along with NRL's latest expansion team, the Perth Bears.
Despite the external interest, it seems that Campbell will continue his journey with the Titans. According to The Courier-Mail, his management is scheduled to meet with the Titans next week as he gears up to re-sign with them on a multi-year contract extension.
The Titans are eager to secure Campbell with a long-term deal, reportedly offering him around $850,000 per season. However, this figure is lower than the club's initial offer presented to him back in August, which was speculated to be a lucrative $4.5 million contract spanning five years.
"That's the best part about Jayden, his best is yet to come," Gold Coast football boss Scott Sattler remarked to the publication.
