Hungry for success: Why Jasmin can't stop eating
Sydney Roosters star Jasmin Strange has shared that one of the most challenging aspects of her transition from playing in the backs to competing in the forwards is the necessity to constantly push herself to eat.
After winning consecutive premierships with both the Knights and the Roosters as a winger or centre, Strange has played every minute of every match this season in the second row.
Although she has excelled in this new position, Strange has needed to increase her weight to manage the heightened physical demands.
For instance, she is now averaging 25 tackles per game this season, a significant rise from the 15 tackles per game she recorded last year in the centres. Simply adding extra training in the gym has proven inadequate.
