Jasmine Peters' debut for the Queensland Maroons in Game One of the State of Origin series was cut short due to a head knock, resulting in her removal from the match just before halftime.
Failing to clear her head injury assessment (HIA), Peters had to watch her team lose to the Blues from the sidelines.
Now, she has been recalled by coach Tahnee Norris for the crucial second match at Allianz Stadium, providing her with a second chance to demonstrate her skills.
Peters expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, noting that her experience in the squad made her initial debut "one of her most 'comfortable'" and fulfilling a long-held dream of representing the Maroons, a team she has supported since childhood in North Queensland.
